Around the world people are in awe of the coastal beauty and beaches we have here in Australia.

But behind the beauty can lay a danger that many unsuspecting people do not understand.

Lifesavers are there to help all 55,000,000 beach visitors each year enjoy themselves and be safe to return again, regardless of their age, race or gender. But having them available to help does cost money.

That is where Guardians of the Surf help out.

These generous individuals currently donate every month. The regular funds allow Surf Life Saving Clubs to purchase vital rescue equipment and ensure our lifesavers and future lifesavers are trained and educated ready to perform the critical duty of saving lives.

Guardians of the Surf provide continued funding for ongoing costs like training, equipment, First Aid supplies and education programs, without which our volunteer surf lifesavers wouldn't be able to perform their vital community service.

These special donors are in essence behind every rescue our lifesavers make!!
You can become a Guardian too!

You can choose to support at any of the following 5 levels of Guardian membership:

Bronze	- $12 monthly or $130 annually
Silver	- $24 monthly or $260 annually
Gold	- $48 monthly or $520 annually
Platinum	- $96 monthly or $1040 annually
Custodian	- $210 monthly or $2500 annually

Your donations as a Guardian of the Surf are fully tax deductible. You will be sent an official receipt; as a monthly supporter you receive your receipt at the end of the financial year detailing your contributions.

What you receive

To acknowledge the generosity of our Guardians of the Surf; Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Guardians receive:
- A Special Guardian of the Surf key ring
- An official membership certificate to display in the home or office
- A subscription to Lifesaver our supporter newsletter to keep you up to date with
  the latest activities

To recognise outstanding commitment, Custodian Guardians receive a personalised framed Surf Life Saving cap.
